A weekend intensive with Karina B. Heart.

We are all seekers. What causes us to seek? How will we find what we're looking for? And, when?
I believe we are seeking union with the divine, with ecstasy, with love itself. It matters not, really, whether we call that love Star Goddess, Great Spirit, Kali, Dumuzi, Chango, Magic, Feri or any other name. It is Love we seek.
"If you are confused about Power, remember Love."* I have known love--through Rumi and other esoteric sources--as the Rose. Even with our feet firmly on the path, we feel lucky and somewhat mystified when we stumble upon this flower. We seek her elusive scent, her soft petals and just as we reach for her, we hesitate--afraid of thorns. Yet, love lives inside us. We live inside it!
In my tradition, we pray, "In you, we live and move and have our being."*
Although we might repeat this prayer daily, we imagine her as too vast, too distant, too aloof to really be concerned with us in any real, personal way. This perception is the most devastating lie ever told. So thoroughly have our cells and memories been imprinted with this nightmare story, that we find ourselves caught in it-- again and again. So long as we imagine this lie to be true, it is (for magic is made with imagination as much as it is the result of applied will). When any part of us believes separation is our natural state, we continue to catch the scent of the Rose while never opening to her ever present embrace.
In this weekend intensive, we'll use a variety of traditional and original practices to move through the lie(s) and the obstacles they've erected within us. We'll break through the disconnect between self and Self and the Rose/Love. Exercises and practices may include variations on the Flower Prayer, IO, Pearl Pentacle, Soul Agreement, Kala, Mirror Work, movement, journaling, an art project, singing, chant and ritual.
Expect this weekend to be an intense journey from separation to union, from seeking to finding and from the trap of "do-ing" toward the ecstasy of Be-ing.

Cost: 250 - 290 € sliding-scale, incl. workshop-fee, accomodation & food from Friday evening till Sunday afternoon.
Venue: This is a residential workshop at our venue in the Rheinpfalz, Germany.
